Fine del Ramadan, le foto più belle dell’Eid al-Fitr a Roma

ITA – Due modi di festeggiare Eid al-Fitr, la preghiera di fine Ramadan. La comunità musulmana bangladese ha avuto molti luoghi dove incontrarsi, data la sua numerosa presenza nella Capitale; noi abbiamo preferito seguirla nella prima preghiera della mattina a Piazza Vittorio, per la sua forza simbolica, in quanto tale piazza è famosa in città per la sua valenza multietnica. Giunta al 16° anno, la preghiera in strada ha raccolto una grande folla di fedeli.

A seguire, c’è stata la preghiera della comunità indonesiana, presso l’Ambasciata d’Indonesia a Roma. Con una presenza numerica decisamente inferiore rispetto a quella bangladese, essa rappresenta comunque lo stato a maggioranza islamica nel mondo. Differente nell’atmosfera, nella sua esclusività limitata alla popolazione indonesiana,e nel gran numero di donne e bambini che hanno colorato l’evento, tale preghiera si è aggiunta alle molte altre in contemporanea nella Città, salutando così la fine del Mese Sacro per i musulmani.

ENG – Two ways to celebrate Eid al-Fitr (the prayer at the end of Ramadan). Bangladeshi Muslim community has many places where people meet, due to its large presence in the Capital; we have preferred to follow it in the first morning prayer, in Piazza Vittorio (it has a great symbolic power, as this square is famous in the City for its multi-ethnic significance). Having reached its 16th year, the prayer in the street has gathered a large crowd of the believers.

After that, there was the prayer of the Indonesian community, in the Embassy of Indonesia in Rome. With a numerical presence significantly lower than the Bangladeshi one, it still represents the major islamic state in the world. It was a different atmosphere, in its exclusivity limited to the Indonesian population, and the large number of women and children who have colored the event, this prayer was added to the many other simultaneously in the City, greeting the end of the Holy Month for Muslims.
