Il 19 settembre l’Ambasciata d’Indonesia a Roma, in collaborazione con l’Associazione Italia-Indonesia, l’Accademia romana di moda KOEFIA, e l’Associazione Indonesiasetara, ha ospitato – per l’annuale sfilata di moda – la famosa stilista indonesiana Mrs. Ghea Panggabean, che ha presentato la sua ricca collezione di abiti in stile batik, dai tessuti pregiati e sgargianti. Anticipata dalla presentazione dei modelli a tema batik realizzati dagli studenti dell’Accademia KOEFIA, ha avuto poi luogo la sfilata della stilista di Jakarta. Questo anno – Roma ha ospitato la stilista anche tre anni fa – Mrs. Ghea ha presentato la sua collezione dividendola in quattro stili: Jawa, Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara Timur e Bali, secondo gli stili delle diverse regioni indonesiane, a cui sono stati associati, per intervallare gli abiti, tre diversi stili di danza eseguiti dal Maestro Martinus Miroto e Santi: Danza di Jawa (Arjuna e Sembadra), una Danza contemporanea su una canzone tradizionale di Palembang (Gending Sriwijaya) e una danza in stile balinese con maschere. Tra le modelle di Ghea ricordiamo le top models Paula Verhoeven, Nadine Chandrawinata (Miss Indonesia 2005) e la figlia di Ghea. Alla fine ci sono stati i ringraziamenti agli ospiti da parte dell’Ambasciatore indonesiano Mr. August Parengkuan e dello staff organizzativo al completo.
